This is my Friday Friend and Follow-up post as I remember the Blue we wear for my Friends who are Surthrivers of Colorectal Cancer and I celebrate my third show where the theme was “Positioning Perspectives and Promises” I have enjoyed the many emails that have been generated because of my #Blogging101 and #Photo101 endeavors. I have a goal to complete this writing in 70 words and two pictures. Wellness, Wy
I am up for some midnight hour Prayer and Praise Processing and I realize that time has passed so quickly because this month has been filled with doctor appointments, rescheduling appointments because of Ice and snow and other situations. I am also preparing some blogs scripts to be used for my online radio program. When I look back at my journal writings, I see several things that I have worked on to make my well being a reality and I see several things that I did not meet my wellness outcome so I decided to walk a (Treadmill) mile at the eleventh hour which is something I don’t think I have ever done before. So this day I thank God for giving me standing and walking power and then I finish the short month of February like I started: seeking wellness. Does anyone know why wellness is keeping a low profile as I continue my #Agechange69 round of questioning?
I got a chance to explain the online radio Blogtalk Show,” Wy’s Ways of Wellness” to a Church group as a method to learn about The Church Health Center “Model for Healthy Living. Katrina Kimble, Community Outreach Coordinator presented to the group of PNBC Churches and I reminded them to listen to the program for more information. I had taken this picture and decided it would work for a Share a Prayer Process to healing on line style. Yes God Is! I am amazed as He reaches down to lift me into my purpose of teaching ministry and wellness through the telephone.
What a blessed Sunday outing I had this week. I love exclamation points but I recently read an article that when you use them too many times in writing, they lose the excitement effect, so this will be difficult but I will try to keep them under seven in this writing. I like going to church! I have attended the same church for 34 years. I have many friends and I participate in several ministries where I serve in a leadership role. Today I have been asked to write a request for sponsorship to the Westberg Symposium because of my work as a Faith Community Nurse (FCN). In 2000 I completed my training in the International Parish Nurse Program. I was a Research Coordinator and a seminary student so this was my Parish Practicum. I have been blessed to lead , teach, speak, train, facilitate, guide and nurse sometime in the last ten years since earning my Master of Divinity degree. I need some help to edit and offer assistance in this proposal. If you read this or any of my blogs, will you tell me if you see the promise and purpose of my work for the people?
I solicit your prayers as I pray and push forward in my mission with this goal in mind: I will be the better butterfly because you will have helped me pursue participation..
WWOW is the same as Wy’s Ways of Wellness. This blog is written as a script for some of my radio shows. These shows are aired Every other Thursday at 12 noon. Listeners can call 347.850.8560 to participate. On February 19, 2015 you can hear Dr. Roger and ECatherine Pearson as my guests. ECatherine has brought forth a great devotional book, “An Attribute A Day Will keep the devil away” I pray to see and hear you there.
I had such a blessed Fun day yesterday and I kept thinking of things I wanted to share with my blogging Community. I read so many interesting Blogs as I prepared for a short sleep session and also the prompt to write about the first word of the day. Well, Well, Well, The first word was Happy and the second one was Blessed. I also realized that I needed to write as if my self, soul and spirit depended on it . I share a Happy picture to give this one a WyWrap for this wellness treatment and trip
I am so close to midnight and today has been one of the days that I just needed a word from the Lord. I have been reading some of the #Blogging201 posts and I wanted to share a poem of Prayer with written permission from Bolden E. Lawson, our friend from Chicago. LORD
LORD, on our knees this morning we pray, Deliver us from burdens we will encounter today, Through life’s bitter snares asnd tempest storms, we traveled a long way on this road home.
LORD, suffering since the day we were born, Walking in darkness you never left us alone. Father, when it seemed we had lost our way, You took our hands , guided us day by day.
