Today I found some poems I had written for encouragement and this one fit my starting the day as we prayed on the Prayerline6am. I am blessed as you will see:
It is no secret what God can do, He is able to do all things for you When I think of the things God has already done, It gives me the praise for Father and Son.I stand in awe as I watch God provide I feel His Power moving on every side.
I am working on the opportunity to make changes and discovered a scripture from Deuteronomy 30:16 that I will use as my devotional mantra as I explore this 52 word sentence until May 29, 2018. This will be the completion of my (72 ) 100 word blog journal that I chose as a a goal before my #73. “In that I command thee this day to love thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.”
It is now the early hours of the morning and I just listened to an inspiring speaker say that “We all have and will have our ups and downs.” I just got in the bed to practice falling asleep and discovered it was not the time or place. I moved to my blog that is dedicated to my GirlMic Leslie. The butterflies carry some of the names who are prayer intercessors and I said I would count them as others count sheep. I have set a 03::00 goal to go again to bed but I thought it would be a good time to count the people who are helping me get through another day. I decided to double my words of thanks to the Lord Jesus Christ for the opportunity of another day to don my wings.
The definition I have chosen is, “ruminate is Figurative. to think or ponder; meditate; reflect.” Today I experienced a muted moment of prayer as I listened to a group of prayer warriors give praise reports and prayer requests. I have chosen to make this observation in response to the prompt: ruminate. I am working to […]
On New Year’s eve, our Church had a “Ceremony of Remembrance and Healing.” I do not feel like I was completely able to participate because I was not feeling well. I chose this as my first 2017 writing because I see many things written about the joy and grace connection of remembering. I thought it might help others if they felt the grief of not having someone present. I am remembering my GirlMic Leslie as I light my candles and speak about her love for family. “Praise the LORD O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.”
One year ago we stood at your grave to say good-bye. I could not have imagined the loneliness of not having you present always. I have worked to stay joyful and move forward with my reading, writing and speaking. I remember things that have been hidden for many years and I cry or smile depending on my mood for the day. Today we celebrate labor day and I know you would have already called to see what I would be doing. I just look into the skies and seek your beautiful face in the clouds to lift away the loneliness.
We had just completed our B/P monitoring. We also discussed how we are in a stressful environment. We looked at how we could better serve and use our gifts. We discussed ways to be better at self-care and getting our selves in a healthier zone. We finished and I had taken my own B/P and found it was high. I left thinking I really needed to get better control. My friend came by, touched me and said, “I think about you and love you. I am praying for you.” I honor Brenda for the blessing on the church parking lot.

Another 2 units of Blood today. Nurses Nancy and Charlotte start the day off in emergency mode as they discover that Leslie’s blood sugar is 30. The visitors include Pastor Brandon Blake, Patty Williams, Pat Davis, Robert and GalVal.. The Doctors include Drs. Town, Muir and Kraus. This was a day of roller coaster feelings as I was concerned about the facts that there seemed to be very little progress with getting her off the ventilator and the Doctors were back to just discussing their specialty and not Leslie’s whole wellness or prognosis. It was helpful to share Leslie’s life story today.
When you see the letters A to Z, do you think of someone who begins their name with the letter? I have letters in my name that range fro A to Y.
Today I was so full of “Why Wy ” as we entered the new doctor’s office armed with medical records that reflected 30 years of diagnosis and treatments. I thought about my presentation on wellness and this blog. I have explained that WWOW is Wy’s Ways of Wellness and that had been my focus and mission in recent months.
I chose the title of my Annual Missionary conference presentation and thought I would place it here as I prepare to do my outline discussing why mission is a part of wellness and how we seek joy as we work within our mission. My session is dedicated to my Ruth Circle Leader and friend, Dorothy Ford who died in March and always asked me to participate in this conference for the last 20 years. I was honored to be asked by our next missionary leader. This picture has the elements of wellness and now I just have to explain “Why. There must not be a silent Wy!
This is a photo of my Healing Cover with scriptures and Words of Wellness that I started to collect in 1998 . I also present this as a part of my Wy’s Ways of Wellness speaking events and online radio program.! I spent some of the time reading them as my #InspiredGratitude.
On day two of my twelve day “Saga Challenges and Choices,” I woke up to prophecies being delivered as double rainbows and my need to make changes. I have decided that I must spend time listening more than ever as I conquer the fear and fast forward for the ministering.
