I am confident in the work God has given me to move though vision to victorious visibility. When I push the button of breakthrough, I feel unspeakable joy.

Did I give?  Encouragement, Shining Light, Time and Talent, Input, Newness, Yes in the flow of my day

WWOW: Waking Up Wired to Pray!

Well, Well, Well, I am awake at 04:00 CST after a weekend that even I don’t comprehend. I think I just need to get a Praise on Paper so I can move on into this new day.

I am a caregiver with 2 family members with Chronic illnesses. My Good Friday included a 4 hour Church evnt of the Jesue Last Seven Words. It was a blessed and Good day. My Difficult Saturday started with a telephone call telling me to get to the ER right away. Since this has been an occurrence before in the last 20 years, I knew the drill.  I started to pray and dress. When I heard what happened  and where we we were now with treatment I breathed another prayer and scripture.

The first report of something showing up on the xray and the blood specimen coagulating was the next prayer response.

Listening to the cries of  my daughter  brought the the next prayer response for  relief.

Listening to the Doctor speculate on possible diagnosis of Pneumonia and CVA brought on my prayer response of asking for help.

Listening to the nurses and lap technicians try to sooth my daughter’s pain as they went about doing numerous tasks caused me to pull out my Word and pray.

Listening to the report that the chest scan was clear brought on a Prayer response of Thank You Lord for the healing in this place.

This morning I woke up with a “Thank God for healing” prayer because in 48 hours all the possibilities had been deleted.  My daughter is home with no apparent residual to this experience. I have heard the Seven Last Words of Jesus many times  but I will always remember this time. Now I see the “Power of Prayer” and miraculous healing and I am Wired to Pray.

WWOW: When Books Win!

#WWOW:  This has been a week where appointments have had to be canceled, Family Blends and Friends could do nothing but call to check on each other and then today there was the odor of gas in the air. I am writing, reading and doing rithmetic (paying bills) but I think I will call this a next day post and go somewhere and rest my head.

I have set a goal for a 99 word post so let me give you a quote from one of these books I am reading:

Today is the Day of Family Blends And Friends

I am planning a time out session today as I reflect on the death of my Cousin  Jimmie. I have known her for as long as I can remember because the day I was born she was 12 years old. Today she made her transition and this leaves seven of the children of the Woods Sisters and brothers born in the 19th century to Dennis and Della Woods. Our Family reunions were the beginning of Family Blends and Friends. Everyone was expected to attend somewhere in Malvern or Hot Springs Arkansas.

My cousin Jimmie was one of my sheroes as she was a businesswoman, Entrepreneur and she was a Bank officer. She cooked food so hot that we ate and drank water in the same mouthful. She was crowned queen of anywhere she went. She was the first majorette I saw in full uniform. She was the first woman I saw play pool and own a pool hall. She did not take anything off anybody and sometimes it was best not to be in her sight.  She would tell you how to get off her back and do it with her hands on her hips.I am smiling as I remember hanging out with the family, singing and dancing because she enjoyed life with the ever present Woods smile on her face.I can close my eyes and see and hear her call my name with all four syllables intact.  .She was my oldest cousin still living and now there are seven cousins left from the eight Woods children. Today is a lonely day but I am not alone as I remember all the good times of the Woods Family Blends and Friends. Farewell my dear cousin. I honor you with all the gratitude I have. I dedicate these 300 words to your memory We thank God for your example of how to live and live well!
