This is a part of my butterfly series dedicated to my GirlMic/Leslie’s living51 so I reblog to get it in the right place.
The Day started with a nurse who seemed to be nervous about having to care for Leslie. I am sure that in her briefing she had heard that I wrote down many of the things that happened related to my GirlMic’s care. As she did everything in a hurried manner and seemed to be scattered, I stopped and prayed that she would be calm, smile and slow down. By the end of the shift, we both realized that we wanted the best care possible. The weaning trials were not successful. We were glad to get a call from cousin Brenda.
