WWOW: Wondrous, Eternal Light and Love

Today is our Amazing grace day as
Leslie heals and comes off the ventilator

Today I had one of those vivid dreams where I was accelerated in a fast moving car and also climbing stairs. I woke up and said, “well, well, well, why was this one of those dreams I remembered?” I immediately wrote these words and spent my morning meditation period thinking about what did I need to do with the dream. I am working on a wellness presentation so I knew the words were given to share.

I entered a writing contest, wrote in my book and helped my Honey Si put up a new light. This  is “show and go”  I know that we all find ourselves looking for the Wondrous, Eternal Light and Love so today I will do a shout out for things being as well as they are. I continue enjoying every day I am up by grace. I am ready as walk in the light, beautiful light.

WWOW: Setting Wy’s Wellness Table

Wy’s Ways of Wellness RadioBlog:

I have been invited to participate in Mt Vernon Church Annual Missionary Conference in two weeks. I am preparing for the presentation with a head and heart full of memories of our event last year. I am a member of the organized missionaries and as I consider where my passion and compassion for wellness has brought me, I think of our Ruth Circle Leader, Sister Dorothy Ford.

I really thought I would not be participating in this year’s conference, “Missionaries Empowered Through Compassion and Love to serve God’s People” because I would not be getting the call from Dorothy saying, “What do you want to present?’ But I did get the call asking me to present a session, so I sit here working on the presentation, “The Joyful Mission of Wellness. When you read this, I hope you will reply with what you would bring to a table of wellness if you got an invitation?

My contribution to the Wellness table is the Fruit of The Spirit.WysFruitfromDouglas05292014

What is writing?

Some say, it’s merely the act of putting information into a textual format so as to be understood by another. Do you agree? I’ve always wondered, could it be more? Is it not the coming together of two minds, one active and one passive, as ideas and images are exchanged through the power of words?

It could be time travel, as claimed by Stephen King. Words are bridges from one mind to another, and their power is locked in books in a suspended animation, a lexical and semantic cryogenics that spans the ages.

What of the thoughts of writing as an art form? Tapping the human condition, are those lucky enough to tap the multi-verse of enlightened wit, pomp and vernacular; our writer-come-guides.

But are writers travellers, hiking through the jungle of their imagination? Or are they more wizards, conjuring from nothing? Some might even argue they…

WWOW: Why W is Silent in Wy but Not in Why

When you see the letters A to Z, do you think of someone who  begins their name with the letter? I have letters in my name that range fro A  to Y.

Today I was so full of “Why Wy ” as we entered the new doctor’s office armed with medical records that reflected 30 years of diagnosis and treatments. I thought about my presentation on wellness and this blog. I have explained that WWOW is Wy’s Ways of Wellness and that had been my focus and mission in recent months.

I chose the title of my Annual Missionary conference presentation and thought I would place it here as I prepare to do my outline discussing why mission is a part of wellness and how we seek joy as we work within our mission. My session is dedicated to my Ruth Circle Leader and friend, Dorothy Ford  who died in March and always asked me to participate in this conference for the last 20 years. I was honored to be asked by our next missionary leader.  This picture has the elements of wellness and now I just have to explain “Why. There must not be a silent Wy!

Journaling: There are times life gets hard..we have to press onward.

Journey.........Love Live Wellness.

There are times life gets hard, we get down….we have to be committed to our process; and press onward…to our forever peace.

I will say it started in May.

Feelings that I thought I had learned how to deal with became live and vibrant again. How could this be? How could I inspire everyone around me with my words and support them in love and positivity, but now I am in another emotional turbulence.

How could it be that I felt like such a loser, and pity on myself…AGAIN? God no way could this be real, because I have all the tools, and I have learned how to pray about anything. I also KNOW my truth in Christ Jesus! My deliverance. So then, why God does this stuff hurt again?

One thing through this process that I have learned is that sometimes the enemy will creep in on us, and…
