A Grounded Tree and a Beautiful Sky

A tree in my neighborhood was cut down and as I went to do my morning picture of the new day Skies, the picture of this tree being on the ground caught my eye. The situations of life are like trees and sometimes it is best for them to come down so that the beautiful Sky can be enjoyed from a different view. I am feeling blessed today as my Day 7 with 52 days LTC before the #AgeChange70..  IMG_0066

WWOW: Waking Up Wired to Pray!

Well, Well, Well, I am awake at 04:00 CST after a weekend that even I don’t comprehend. I think I just need to get a Praise on Paper so I can move on into this new day.

I am a caregiver with 2 family members with Chronic illnesses. My Good Friday included a 4 hour Church evnt of the Jesue Last Seven Words. It was a blessed and Good day. My Difficult Saturday started with a telephone call telling me to get to the ER right away. Since this has been an occurrence before in the last 20 years, I knew the drill.  I started to pray and dress. When I heard what happened  and where we we were now with treatment I breathed another prayer and scripture.

The first report of something showing up on the xray and the blood specimen coagulating was the next prayer response.

Listening to the cries of  my daughter  brought the the next prayer response for  relief.

Listening to the Doctor speculate on possible diagnosis of Pneumonia and CVA brought on my prayer response of asking for help.

Listening to the nurses and lap technicians try to sooth my daughter’s pain as they went about doing numerous tasks caused me to pull out my Word and pray.

Listening to the report that the chest scan was clear brought on a Prayer response of Thank You Lord for the healing in this place.

This morning I woke up with a “Thank God for healing” prayer because in 48 hours all the possibilities had been deleted.  My daughter is home with no apparent residual to this experience. I have heard the Seven Last Words of Jesus many times  but I will always remember this time. Now I see the “Power of Prayer” and miraculous healing and I am Wired to Pray.Wy in Worship with Hands lifted 2nd row middle minister08102014

WWOW: The Awesome Act of Resurrection

Psalm 96-12-13 Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice Before the LORD: for He cometh, for He cometh to judge the earth: He shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth

This morning when I rose, I did not have any doubt. How often do we use these words as a way of giving God the glory. Why is this our declaration of thankfulness of how Jesus Christ died, was buried and then He rose? This is just one occurrence that we talk about when we speak of our Resurrection Sunday. I have spent some times reading the Psalms as I look at the awesome acts of resurrection. The Psalmist shows us this in many of the scriptures.

This morning when I rose , I began my day with Psalm 96.12-13.  The words opened my thoughts to Jesus and His marvelous gift of sacrifice.  I believe that we can find Jesus from Genesis to Revelation and throughout are the acts of Resurrection. Why do I choose to call them acts of resurrection? Acts are defined as to execute, carry out, accomplish, serve and achieve. I see all of these as examples of why Jesus came down from heaven but did not come down from the Cross.  We are able to rejoice each morning with each new rising sun and our own rising from sleep. This is a testimony of praise for me to be able to see, hear, smell, taste, and touch, so this begins my praise for the day.

This morning when I rose, I found that like the Psalmist in 95: 6, I was able to “worship and bow down.”  I received my blessings to begin the day and this again gave me the opportunity to believe in the Saving Power that came from the Holy Word of Jesus being raised up and ascending to heaven.  This is our model of the Godly happiness that the Psalmist gives us. Paul also said in Philippians 2:6, “Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. What an exclamation of love we are able to share daily. I  just want to run and encourage others with these words.  This will forever be my song of praise as I remember the awesome act of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior each time I rise because “ He Rose, He Rose, He Rose.

Where There Is A Will, There Is Wellness

Today has been a day long search for information I needed to prepare for updating  a Last Will and Testament.Will. It is one of my goals to be completed in the first three months of the year 2015. I know that I said that I would accomplish this goal and I am very happy to say that this moves from a draft to a testimony of how important this is to my Wellness. I plan to interview people who have or have not to emphasize the importance of this outcome.
