In preparation for my trip, I did as much research as any first time lone traveler would do. I researched everything from budget friendly accommodations, tips on how to stay on budget, what to pack, and how to stay safe when traveling alone.
Some might say that too much preparation in advance can take away from the experience. I say, if it’s your first time traveling alone – your best bet is to research and prepare as much as you can until you’re satisfied with your decisions. There is no harm in surfing the travel forums for the best deals and tips to get you over any anxiety and fears you may be feeling.
